Yeah, I don’t know how I feel about this. But I do know I hate non-car people: I posted just the top picture in a Kia Soul group, where I’m one of like two people who uses/used the Soul as a secondary car, and holy crap, you’d think I duct-taped it to the windshield. Every single reply was telling me to “put it where it belongs,” even after I said I’m not drilling holes in the bumper. “It won’t hurt the resale value.” Okay, but maybe I don’t *want* holes in my car? I dunno. It does look a bit silly with the big rectangle in the middle, but I think my next project will be to fabricate a better lower grille that doesn’t have that.
But anyway, my point: the BMW 3-series (unspecified year) apparently has a ridiculously long/deep tow hook. That’s what this was meant for, and that’s why it sticks out so much.
