Almost truck time.

I’m currently in Charlotte, waiting for the second half of my flight to start. I realized something kind of funny last night:

I spent the night on my parents’ guest bed, so I have a couple articles of clothing to bring home and wash. They live 15 miles away or so, but rather than just take my shirt and underwear straight home (my pants are fine for day 2. Shut up), I’m flying them from Atlanta to Charlotte, then Charlotte to Detroit, then driving them from Detroit to Lexington, and finally Lexington to Atlanta. Something like 1300-1400 miles, even though I live a couple miles off of exit 99 and my parents are off 111. I'm just going to pretend that the whole point of this trip is to take my shirt home and the truck is just a necessary component of the journey.
