As you can see in my very accurate diagram, the parking brake cable splits into two at one point. When I disengaged it a few days ago, only the left rear cable went back to its original position. The right rear one is still sticking out, leaving the brake engaged on that wheel, and it will not go back no matter what I do. Any suggestions that don’t involve replacing the cables entirely? The truck is an automatic, so I don’t *need* the parking brake at all.... if I just remove the cable and leave it off, will that affect the regular brakes somehow?
