Humdrum is at the garage to get her exhaust leak and her fuel overflow issue fixed, so I walked down to the local library. There’s some sort of EV demo outside being put on by CAA....a Kona EV, Bolt EV a a Model 3.
Kona EV is cool....it’ s just a regular Kona with a different grill and quiet, lol. I am not a crossover person, but the Kona is one that I actually like.
The Bolt is the first one I’ve seen in person, I must say, it’s not amazing-looking, but I think it looks a lot better in person than it does online for a little EV hatchback. Not bad!
I stood by and listened for a few...the people doing the demo seemed nice, but I don’t think they knew a HUGE amount about the cars they were talking about....just farly generic info: (about the Model 3) “Yeah, the batteries are under the seats” was about the most technical thing I heard the fellow say.
Good on them for trying to spread EV-ness though.
