A new era dawns, although it’s an awful lot like the old era.
2016 4Runner Trail, with a sunroof and, interestingly, a Katzkin leather interior that’s nicer than the Softex available in the Trail Premium. Just brought it home and moved the roof rack over from the old era’s (quite similar) flagship.
Speaking of which, the old battleship is now officially for sale.

It’s a 2005 SR5 V8 4wd with 197,000 exceptionally well-maintained miles. Just got a more or less clean bill of health from the dealer service department, although of course there’s stuff it’ll need in the longer term.
