So, my neighbor has a 2010ish Jeep, and my kiddo has a 2016 VW Jetta. They park next to each other since we live in condos. My neighbor had some sort of battery issues Thursday to where she had trouble getting it started etc and when she did she was driving it around trying to charge it but I don’t know the details. Well, today my kiddo’s car battery is doing weird stuff to where she could turn on the radio and lights but couldn’t start the car until she got a jump - not exactly the dead battery kind of behavior but jumping it worked. Of the many complaints it stated her car couldn’t find the key (it’s a key fob) but worked after jumping.
So we had a TON of rain unusual for our area. Is that possibly the cause, is this just coincidence or is something nefarious going on??
