Its been about two months since we had a stove. You might think we’ve been eating out a lot, but no. Mrs. Shop-Teacher has made do with a hot plate, a gas grill, and an instapot. We ate out one time that we wouldn’t have otherwise. Thanks to my buddy Fry-Guy for helping me muscle this thing into place.
We also got one of them fancy-pants dishwashers with the buttons on the top, that you can barely hear.
Also thanks to my local Ace Hardware, for having the weird adapters that both installs required, because nothing can be easy, and for having employees who know what’s needed and where it is. Support your local hardware stores!
Countertops should go in in the next week or two, thus bringing us down to the nitty gritty details. Quite frankly, there’s still a bunch of work to do, but at least it’s a functional kitchen again.
