For Christmas, my wife bought Hammer a little bed for him to lay on in the kitchen. He likes to be in there with her when she cooks, but was always smack in the middle of the floor.

And he loved it ... For about four hours. Christmas afternoon, I was taking my daughters outside to play with the new Nerf guns, and the six year old accidentally shot Hammer in the foot while he was laying on the bed.

After that, Hammer refused to lay on the bed. He kept going over and sniffing it, but wouldn’t get on it.

Finally, my wife took the bed away, and put down the towel he’s laying on in the top shot. Where he now spends hours each day.

Apparently Hammer does not blame my child for shooting him ... It was CLEARLY the bed's fault.
