...was hit hard. That chassis (just behind the steering rod) didn’t bend itself! Front offside (RHD remember) of a LR D4.
My mother is not happy but she does insist on taking the thing off road!!
Now we remember what she hit. Or more correctly what she missed. She missed the cattle grid at the entrance to my uncle’s place about a year ago. Fell off one side of it and it is made of railway track...she had her hand broken as a result because she had her thumb inside the steering wheel when it span under impact. Clearly no-one though to check underneath (or knew what they were looking at if they did).
