Going to a runway event tomorrow and get to see how the GTI does. My good friend works at a popular tinting/detailing shop in my area and they’re renting out one of our small local airports for the day. The day will consist of drag races, AutoX, and best braking contest.
Obviously my car won’t do great in many of these compared to the performance/super cars that will be in attendance, however I still am very excited. I volunteered to help them setup/takedown, so we get the advantage of using the runway before the customers arrive.
Will definitely have photos and videos to come. The weather is iffy at 60% chance of storms, so we’ll see how that goes.
