I’ve been driving this Challenger 392 Shaker this weekend and thought it would be funny to wear a Tesla hat while doing so. Talk about opposites!
Now let’s talk about the Challenger. First off, IndiGO Blue is an excellent color and the Shaker Package is just SO right for this old school kind of car. Second..WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH? I know the Challenger is the butt of a lot of jokes, many I make myself, but I’ve kinda fallen for this car. And I normally like nimble German or Japanese cars! The reason why?
Manual is best, bro. I’ve driven a few automatic Scat Packs and they’re nice enough. Quick, sound good, and comfortable. Besides having a very touchy throttle they’re just a bit too easy to drive. The manual though? It truly makes this car. Great clutch feel, super forgiving with the large amount of low end grunt and match it with the lovely V8 sounds for a great drive! This car truly makes me miss driving stick everyday..which thank god these don’t lease well currently or I’d be in trouble.
I was sponsoring a car show this weekend which is why I have all these cool cars in my driveway. Funny that the bright red Ram Rebel was more popular than the Scat Pack and Rubicon. Who knows.
