How much is my truck actually worth?

Kinda a loaded question, but old Cummins Rams have a price inflation issue. I also want to get the most I can.

2000 Ram 2500 Quad Cab Diesel, 5 speed, 2wd, SLT Laramie. 89,000 miles. Extremely clean. Also brand new tires (old ones were 18 years old, a testament to keeping cars in garages, also very dangerous)

Was my grandfather’s truck but I don’t think I have too much of an emotional attachment to it. It’s just too much for me, and I feel nervous every time I drive it because of it’s perceived value in it’s pristine condition.

It’s hard for me to get a value. I know it’s not worth $20,000 like some Craigslist ads are asking for similar trucks, but I also know it could sell for more than the $8k KBB says it’s worth.

I know it looks much better without the cap.

It’s certainly a step up from my old Ranger, but I feel like it’s wasting away in my ownership. What will replace it? Whatever I can get with however much I can sell the Ram for. I’d like a newer used Volvo, like a v60, or a 1st gen XC90, something that will be a nice place to sit, not as loud as a Cummins, and be able to move lumber, something I move a lot of as a furniture designer (Volvo also fits that Industrial Design/ architecture lifestyle).

So what do y’all think is a realistic asking price? Is anyone interested? Still just floating the idea, because the other option is keep this truck forever and not think twice about the value.
