For those of you who didn’t heed my shameless plea accept my invitation to follow my visit to Bridge City on Instagram , here’s a dump of some of the interesting cars I saw during my visit. Lots of older stuff, I certainly saw some of the newer high-end cars but as expected it was more old Saabs and Dodges than it was Lamborghinis.
Beautiful classic 911 on Burnside
Before my ride even turned up at the airport, this awesome Datsun 510 Wagon came by. A ‘71 Chrysler 300 in St. Johns. I saw three or four J70 Land Cruisers during my visit, as well as countless 80s, 100s, and 200s. This beautiful BMW 3.0 CSi, which I already posted, great to see. I actually saw a second one in white with gold honeycomb wheels. Z8 on 23rd by Salt & Straw, which was amazing. Another 23rd Street spot, a 1970 Cadillac Sedan de Ville. Plenty of old Saabs to be found, though amazingly I didn’t see anything older than a 900. An Arnage T, one of my favorite luxury barges. 458 Spider, and yes, the driver is wearing a matching Ferrari hat. Custom Cadillac Deville Convertible MGA in the perfect color combination. A slightly older DeVille sporting some very patriotic modifications. An oddly modified P1800 and a Fiat 124 Coupe in Astoria. Oddly mine Plymouth Volaré. Very rare “Ultra Van”, a Corvair-based 60's RV. Nissan Pulsar NX, which I believe is the world’s only production modular car. Honday Acty Street still sporting foreign plates. Plenty of old Range Rovers around And of course, my friend’s trusty ‘95 Volvo 850 Turbo which shuttled us all over, including to Astoria, Canon Beach, Oceanside, McMinnville, and Hood River.
