From a quick comparison of the two on their respective website (I built out my ideal spec for each one) it seems like the Benz pretty thoroughly cleans the kitty’s clock. Even the Volvo V90 seems like a more appealing prospect, and it’s way less expensive. Car and Driver seems to concur with me, although I disagree with their opinion that the Jaguar is sleeker than the E400. TL;DR the E400 (now the E450) Estate is one of my favorite cars currently on sale and I want one with the Designo Macchiato Beige/Saddle Brown interior badly.
