After much deliberation, research, and negotiating, I finally got the car I’ve wanted for many a year, and it was a crazy journey to get it this weekend.
My wife and I fought through Memorial Day traffic at the IL/IN border en route to far western PA last night. We stayed at a cheap hotel in a small town where the dealer selling this SS. Negotiations, financing, and PPI’s were all complete before I showed up, so we signed everything and drove off!
Rather than taking it easy, we drove the 7 hours back home today, with stops in every state along the way (PA, OH, IN) to see friends. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed getting acquainted with this fantastic car.
