1935 New Brunswick Driver's Handbook

Picked this up for my uncle in New Brunswick who’s umm... had more than a few tickets over the years, but it turns out it’s a pretty entertaining part of history. Still a lot of good information in here - and it’s funny to see how much was similar 85 years ago.

In the fall of 1935, a 21-year old farmer named J. Egerton Jewett of Sheffield, New Brunswick walked into a Chevrolet dealer (likely J. Clark Chevrolet in Fredericton) and purchased a 1936 Chevrolet Standard Sedan. He was handed this book of “Valuable Information” which doubled as a registration and driver’s license holder. It appears that Mr. Jewett held on to his Chevy until 1939, racking up about 14000 miles.
