DOTS ish: Roadside oddities and fast Audis.

Fresh off of my first bikepacking adventure this past weekend (longer post on that coming soon) I thought I’d post some pics of a couple rad rides I saw along the journey. My buddy and I saw tons of cool cars out for a cruise on what is likely one of the last decent-weather weekends here in Southeast MI. Sadly I couldn’t whip my phone out fast enough for most of them, but here’s some of the notable highlights that were stationary long enough for me to snap!

First up is this sweet lifted Grand-Am gambler type build. This looks highly questionable and undoubtedly fun. He also had a tri-five chevy and some other interesting metal. The Grand-am was gone the next morning and I got a better look at the S-10; it had some massive drag radials mounted on back!!

Next up is what I think is a Early-50's Studebaker something. Sorry for the potato pics, but it was quite far away and I didn’t want to ride up this guy’s long driveway to get a better shot.

I think based off of the window shape and the semi-covered rear wheel it’s a 1950 Studebaker Champion. Looks like it’s in decent shape except for the rust where the chrome trim should be in front of that rear wheel.

Finally, I’ll round things out by posting this tasty spec RS7. I’m not a huge fan of newer Audi’s in general, and ditching the manual makes me pretty uninterested in owning one but damn if they don’t look pretty in person. Hopefully somebody hoons the crap out of this soon.
