I pulled it off the shelf when cleaning. My memory was slightly faulty, it’s a regular Pentium 4 rather than a Xeon. The optical drive moved to a new home long ago.

Let’s get that cover off. All of the light blue bits are related to installing or removing hardware, like the piece at the left that holds PCI card brackets instead of using individual screws.

And that crossbar out of the way. That’s a 36GB 10000RPM U320 SCSI drive on the right, and an nvidia Quadro dual-DVI video card in the middle. If you look closely you can see that the lower part of the motherboard with the last two PCI slots is actually a second board plugged in to the upper part.
