After a day and a half of contemplating it, I have removed the backbox / muffler from my 125i and it now sounds amazing
When cruising at 30 you can’t tell anything has been done to the exhaust till you accelerate, also has some nice pops off throttle.
No video of the sound yet but I’m sure you can imagine how nice the straight 6 sounds
