Yesterday I went to the small-ish Cars & Coffee in Potomac, MD. It’s the perfect C&C for if you don’t want to wake up at the asscrack of dawn on a weekend to go to Katie’s C&C in Great Falls, VA. My car was near a Porsche 930, a Challenger Demon, an old Jaguar saloon, and an NSX. It did not get much attention.

This dude with the DB11 had a camping chair with its own built-in awning, and a hilariously bad 90s patterned polo. According to my friend with the RC-F, Jay Leno once offered to buy 5 cars off this guy for several millions of dollars and the guy told Jay Leno to fuck off. Supposedly.

Several of the people gathered around the Demon thought it was interesting when I pointed out that the yellow thingie on the front lip was actually a shipping cover and had TO BE REMOVED BY DEALER markings on it.

This NSX is a proper track car, stripped interior, racing seats, cage, detachable steering wheel, etc. He’s mostly been running it in SCCA A Street Prepared autocross lately.

There were a couple BMW things I didn’t get pictures of. There was a very nice British saving green 2002, and then mid-way through, two guys showed up in E34s, one 540i and one M5. They parked next to each other, one guy guy a baby stroller out of the M5, they took some pictures of themselves, their cars, and their stroller and didn’t interact much with anyone else.

At the very end after most folks had rolled out and a group of 5 of us were hanging around in the shade near my car (I specifically chose a shady spot) this one dude came burning through in a Nissan Sentra Nismo. He was vaping, wearing a Monster Energy NASCAR jacket/shirt, and fingerless driving gloves. He did an aggressive 7 point turn into a space, got out, and wanted to join our group. He was weird though.
