Peak Insanity

You can see that it’s fake. Not too long ago, automakers at least tried to make you think that the massive expanse of black plastic increasing the drag coefficient at the front of the car was some sort of functional path for air cooling the engine, or brakes, or something. Now fakey-ness is a design element?

I pray that we’ve reached peak insanity and that soon air intakes will be real, belt lines will be lowered, exhaust sounds will be legitimate expressions of performance, and cars will be available in actual colors instead of shades of gray, plus maybe red.
