Just replaced the two non-air rear shocks on the Rialta

And once again, all I can say is: who the hell designed this suspension?

Less of a pain than the one air shock from last week, but not painless. Took 3 hours, required two jacks, many sockets, mallet, cheater bar, etc. There is no adjustment or room as the steel brake lines actually block the bottom nut for the through-bolt. Also, the channel for the top part of the shock goes up 4 extra inches for no reason other than to get stuck, because the tuck and drop method doesn’t work as the bottom can’t lift high enough to clear the brake line anyway.

It basically felt designed to deter anyone from doing it themselves. But and that note, we probably saved my dad a small fortune.
