Lexus dealer: "Oil change? Rotation? Runny nose? Here's a new car to ride around and burn some time. And an Americano, and cookies. Have you sat in the new LC500 you can't afford yet?"

Toyota dealer: “Oh you’re in for your 120,000-service that will take 5 hours? Hmm, you can RENT a car if you want. Or we can get you a shuttle, that you’ll be waiting 45 minutes for while you sit and wonder if we forgot about you. There’s some press coffee in the corner.”

Not a bad way to spend a Friday, though. I didn’t schedule any stops today which is great because I’m a little burnt out.
