In 2015, we got a recall notice for our passenger-side Takata airbag. No fix available.
In 2016, they tell us they have a fix and I get it down while I flew to a wedding in California.
In 2018(19?), I get a new recall notice saying our replacement airbag will not deploy. No fix yet.

Finally, last week we get the above notice. The new-new is available which will replace the new airbag which replaced the old airbag.
Call the dealer. “Oh, I don’t think we have any parts yet...” Nice guy, though.
Oh, okay. This happened last time, too. So I’m not even upset; just amused. The car’s been running great since my last kerfuffle so I’ll wait.
