I turned in a test for my Fintech course in the 7:00 hour, which means that I have completed my last college assignment. The virtual ceremony, which I submitted a video for, is Saturday morning, but I am done with school!

On Monday, I got three separate emails from companies interested in interviews with me. I recorded a HireVue interview with a grocery job, and I’m really hoping I at least get that. Two other “further steps” companies are more corporate, and one of them is automotive related. I’m still gonna apply to more jobs, but this is great. Because of interview processes and hiring, it looks like I can call myself a part of the 26.4 million for a couple weeks. Er, I mean, I can enjoy free time with no major commitments while finding jobs!

Tomorrow, I’m gonna see a couple friends and do lunch with them. I like to think of Kemp’s gradual reopening of places like dine-in restaurants as a graduation present/reward for making it through the past month. Other than going to RaceTrac everyday to get my mom a soda, even I’m not doing much in public. If I had an offer lined up (meaning I could cover these costs later), I’d seriously consider going to Tybee for a few days. There’s a lot of school stuff to shred and stuff to organize, so I can keep busy around here. Plus, if I still want that new car, I wanna stay frugal.

It hasn’t really kicked in yet, but I’m in a great place.
