Behold, The Lego "James Bond™ Aston Martin DB5"

My mother turned me on to James Bond as a little guy. She would always do secret agent themed things for holidays. Setting me up with scavenger hunts, self destructing “mission briefings” etc... I know, amazing woman. FYI my favorite movie is “The Man With The Golden Gun” flame suit on. It’s got it all! Flying cars, that southern dude, 3 nipple guy, that cool fun house on the secret island, a gigantic laser beam, all of those AMC cars. Finally GoodKnight...schwing!

Anyway, my wife got this for me two Christmases ago. I actually discovered it before that Christmas by accident and my wife told me to just go ahead and build it. I felt bad, so I left it where it was and forgot about it. Fast forward to this unique situation we find ourselves in and...I re-discovered it while cleaning, JACKPOT!

I kicked it off 3 days ago and I just finished this morning. I’d say I probably have 4-5 hours into it. I’ve got a bunch of cool car legos as you will see below, however I think this one is the coolest. The 911 is awesome, but it is more model than toy, the DB5 is a T O Y. Ejecto seato cuz!!! Machine guns, pop up bullet proof wall, secret phone, tire spikes.....! NEAT NEAT FUCKING NEAT!!!!!

ALSO

I just got off our weekly “Town Hall” zoom meeting. One of my colleagues has rallied a bunch of companies and people together to get 3d printers to make face shields for the front lines of COVID19. I have been looking for an excuse to get one, now it seems like I have to! So I bought the one he recommended, and a bunch of our other colleagues purchased filament and the other supplies well need to make em.

This thing will only be churning out masks/shields, but after all this mess I will be making all sorts of things!!!
