This guy purchased this in a different state and brought it to our shop, an independent repair facility. ...said it felt like the wheel was coming off “but i checked the lug nut torque so i don’t understand.”

When he called the bastards back they told him to go to his insurance company, we told him to get an attorney. Sorry about your wallet brother.

So this carb is from a Toro Workman utility cart at one of our golf courses. What you see is the work from a “helicopter mechanic” from the army. Guy was 26 years old and didn’t know his ass from his elbow. He attempted to get the Toro running and did this. He has done many questionable things, including doing the first 50 hour oil change on a brand new $80,000 mower and filling the oil to the top and tried to start it. I took the intake hose off the turbo and oil poured out. After two years of coming in and sitting in the corner playing his Nintendo Switch, he got fired. I was constantly having to go to his golf course and fix everything for him. And he got payed the same as me right from the start. It was a toxic relationship at best.

...freshly rebuilt head on an 87 Alfa Romeo Spider... Lack of lubrication from a plugged oil passageway may be the culprit... or this valve was not adjusted properly and there was too little clearance.
