He has a leak on a boost hose and EGR valve, has been driving like that for years
The entire engine bay looks like a coal mine.

So I’ve been diagnosing rough idle and P0300 with no specific cylinder to pin down, C/S they did their own timing belt, found P/S cam was one tooth off, and D/S cam was 2 teeth off, and then to top it all off, the crank timing gear could rotate on the crank about 1/4 in because the balancer bolt was loose which caused the keyway to start shearing off...

We’re in Ohio, so that should explain most of it. It’s just a farm truck that sits and collects dust until the owner needs it for whatever. The body was in really rough shape, I’m not sure how it got as bad as it did, but here we are.
Wheel bearing had completely failed and chewed everything up. Forgot to take a pic but it was definitely “ka-chowed”.

I want to lean toward spider gear broke and just took everything with it.

...Only 150k. ...They were running 20w50, and apparently ate through 2 headgaskets in the few years they owned it.

its a company owned by our company who has its own mechanics but send it to us if they cant figure it out so they dont get charged for labor...
cabin air filter was never changed since it was bought. it was actually so plugged up i had to use an air hammer to break the plastic housing apart to seperate it from the caf channel. 450 bucks later the a/c is so cold it makes my eyes water

Believe it or not, there were no injuries.
Normally you steam the tank overnight to make sure there is no product left in it. OSHA will have a field day with this.
