This is my new place of work
Today I got to wake up a 4:30 to get to work for 7am for a safety course and we boarded a school bus and drove into the pit. The 240 tonne dumper trucks are huge. The tires seem higher than the buses roof. We drove to the lower level we see in this pic. But the hole is much deeper now.
I work in the one of the white buildings in the background. We are a IT team of 11 at the moment and so far (after 2 days) my coworkers and bosses seem really cool. I think I landed in a good team. Days are long since I got to get up early. Tomorrow I start a 8am so must get up at 5:30 and leave at 6:30.
