Missouri DOT travel info & LIVE highway cameras

So, I see this on my twitter feed from time to time but never paid attention to it so much as I’m on the East side of the state and don’t really travel west to Kansas except for today where I’m headed to Holton, KS 1/2 hour north of Topeka.

Now I’m not exactly sure how that link work on a computer because I don’t have one, but i downloaded the app today listed there and with the options you can view the highway camera, traveling conditions, changable road signs, road closures due to accidents or construction.

The biggest surprise to me was the live cameras, I look at them when I pass and have always wondered if it was a

public feed available to anyone. And now I know, and you know..,
