After finishing up some errands, was feeling motivated so I started changing the van oil as it was overdue. Started typicality: drain, plug, refill, remove intake tube from air box to throttle body, remove cap, pitch old filter , and just as I’m replacing the o-ring for the cap I heard a PING and parts fly, the plastic break and spring shoot out. I find some parts, but some are still attached in the housing, try and retrieve and broke it in pieces in my hand and down into the housing. Go buy new part, remove what I can with a shopvac and collect those pieces. Confident there aren’t anymore pieces in the housing, put it back together and finish the job. What would have taken 30 minuets took about 1.5 hours. Boo
