My late uncle’s wife Lisa is wanting to make a studio in part of the basement. I removed the 1x6 boards that were stained and used for the walls & built entertainment center, it was ugly. I later removed the drywall ceiling. She wanted the 1x3 strips taken out and plans on having the ceiling painted black and the concrete walls painted white, with either killz or something oil based..?
I am a demo guy, but not too good with paint. Suggestions on painting this? She wants me to give her a bid, but I have no clue. I can borrow an airless sprayer from work and 1/2 ass it and spray the shit out of it all, or she can pay a contractor and have it done.
She lives on the other side of town, 45 minutes away, so I’m not really doing myself any favors by working for her.
