New tool. Pressure washer sand blaster attachment

So this extension thing attaches on the end of a gas powerwasher nozzle. The other end goes into your bucket of blasting sand. I used about 2 50lb bags of sand and blasted my front axle of my Jeep. Something I’ve been putting off for some time. Now although there is the surface flash rust starting again this is a much better surface to prep for the POR15 I have planned. Took about 2 hours because I ran out of gas. It was really hard to see even with a hard hat & face shield, so I have a little bit of wire brushing to do, but nothing like I would have had to do if I hadn’t sandblasted it.

5/10 would use again on something I need paint off of. And prep for paint. But super messy because all the sand has to go somewhere and thus why I did it at my work. I also don’t own a gas powerwasher, but there is some at work.

I guess I had the nozzle upside down because the wet sand kept clogging the hose. After unclogging twice I worked it out and didn’t need to again.
