A couple friends of ours, the wife, and I went to Veloce Indoor Karting for a little fun for the wife and I’s combined Bday parties (her’s was Saturday, mine is the 1st).
It’s a little on the pricey side, but we all had quite a bit of fun doing that.
Then we made our way home, making a stop at Rock Bottom Express in Jefferson for a drink and a quick snack.
If you’re ever in the area I highly suggest stopping in. The food was great, the atmosphere was amazing, and they know how to mix a drink.
After that we continued homeward, making a stop at Retro Revolution, a little joint the wife and I have wanted to check out for quite a while.
Turned out to be a neat little store, walked out with a pristine 2nd gen hood ornament.
Then we headed for dinner at our favorite place, North and South in Deforest. These guys are amazing, excellent food, really reasonable prices, never disappointed.
After dinner we went to our local bar and watched Blue Steel Band play.
All in all it was a good day.
