For trying to help people.
Watched a guy lose his front wheel last night, so naturally, I turned around to make sure he was ok and see if he needed help.
He was fine, we got his wheel from the ditch, and he called his buddy to bring a jack/lugnuts. Turns out he just had new tires put on and the shop failed to torque the lugnuts.
Knowing he had someone on the way I pulled back onto the road to continue my way home. Made it all of 1/4 mile before I knew something was wrong.
Pulled over and wouldn’t you know..............Passenger rear tire is on the rim.
Called my wife to come pick me up, went home and grabbed my jack, iron, and a wheel.
Turns out there must have been a chunk of metal on the side of the road where I pulled off. It cut a 1/2" slit through the tread on my tire.
Sooooo, now I get to order a new tire.
