Spare Tire Carrier Options.

Prior discussion about keeping my “wrecked” tire and having it patched for a spare got me thinking about options for carrying it.



I have the roof basket, which is the least work, but we use that for tent/coolers/etc when travelling/camping, so I’d rather not tie that up.



I could get a hitch mount like this:

But it seems all I’m finding eliminate the use of your receiver hitch, so that complicates things.



Something like this would be my ideal solution:

But the hatch design means I’d have to mount it off the driver’s side.



What’s Oppo think? Any other ideas?
