Heavy stuff... (updated)

My front skid plate is heavy. 35 lbs. I should have thought to put up something to support it before letting it fall on me. Stupid.

Just like this, but REALLY rusty and full of dust and rocks.

Update: the skid plate is re-installed (yay!) but it contacts my front diff... Shit. Apparently this is a common problem when you have a diff drop installed, and there’s lots of back-and-forth over whether it’s even necessary to have a diff drop on 3" or less of lift. It would have been nice to have this taken care of by the shop who installed the skids... grrr.

I have spacers on the front and rear of the skid, but they’re a bit too short. I don’t have much for options, so I’ll have to install longer rear bolts and use bigger spacers (or just add a handful of washers). Or I could have the diff drop removed, but that will cost me money.
