Big Bend, here I come!

Spring break 2016 will find me back exploring the most remote part of Texas...

Big Bend!

This trip’s highlights will include some of the last trips excursions:

Black Gap Road, The Other Side of Nowhere and Christmas Mountain.

I also want to explore some areas that I’ve researched the last 12 months since my last visit.

In the State Park on the NW side it is supposed to be very rugged and very remote. There is an area called Casa Piedra with a place called Casa Ramon. I had seen a youtube video of a guy and his Jeep out there, and it looks like my kind of trip.

In the National Park is Old Ore Road. It’s known for it’s vistas and views more than it’s wheeling (As is pretty much the whole National Park), but it’s a good 4 hour drive on the east side of the park.

North of the town of Terlingua are some county roads that I was told are worth exploring, so I think we’ll do that.

Anyways, I’m excited to have another adventure in the works and I thought I’d share with y’all.
