A successful hunt! (for a tree...)

It was elusive and we traveled far and wide, but we bagged an nice little one.

I’m told it’s perfectly adequate size and that there is nothing to be insecure about, but I told the wife we are going to do the fish trick and hold it out in front of us to make it appear bigger...

As you’d expect after finding a tree, you don’t just rush back into the city. You find a road with knee high grass growing along it and get as excited as a kid on Christmas eve because you know that it’s seldom used. Then you get a fire going... and thoroughly enjoy that chain saw you brought on some downed trees to produce perfect logs for the cold night.
