FYI, the 2.8 common rail VGT Turbodiesel I4 features 197 hp and 340 lbs-ft of torque. Sounds prefect. Its also the same engine (more or less) as the new Colorado diesel. As a bonus to the torque, it delivers a claimed 29 mpg combined cycle. Loaded down in full overland trim that’s like 30 highway, 25 city and 20 on the trail. The RANGE!
