Im LDS [Mormon], not that my religion is really this way or that to most of you but it does mean that growing up I had access to lots of really strange parable material from the good folks at the BYU media department that many of you will have never seen. One of those is a little ditty my wife and I often cite called “the pump”. I was thinking about desert travel lately and because my cruiser has been doing this fun thing of randomly dying on me (I think i figured it out) it’s been on my mind.
I think it’s supposed to teach you something about trust or something but all I hear is the creepy super slow “just prime the pump” over and over. It’s like a complete “don’t do what Donny-don’t-do does” guide of what not to do in the desert.
