I was trolling my local government auction site when I discovered what could be a modern(ish) version of the beloved Unimog. Never mind that there is a modern Unimog.
Looks pretty good on paper. 6cyl diesel. Cab over. Rear camper area. Ability to raise/lower suspension. Derived from the Steyr 12M18 (thanks Wikipedia!) which is a descendent of the beloved Pinzgauer. Oh. that makes it a modern(ish) Pinz.

Anyways, it doesn't look TOO huge. Appears to be able to tackle some extreme terrain. Any shot of getting one street legal?
Not really considering buying one...but this one IS local....
