The UPS guy came and dropped off a box last week, I spent a few nights assembling it - it’s a nice quality piece - everything fit perfectly and I loc-tited all of my bolts.

Once you have access to the bolts you need to mark off where to make your holes;

You need a 3/4" hole punched through, there is a metal rib inside so it’s best to take the dremel to the underside and get that out before giving it a punch, I had a friend make up a 3/4" pipe punch and it worked perfectly.

The olny issue I had were a few of the threaded holes in the roof stopped before the bolts did. A quick cut with the grinder to shorten the bolts and everything was good.

Overall I’m super happy, I like the look much better than an steel black Bajarack type of rack. And shipping this to Canada was much less crazy than a fully assembled one. I did talk to Jason about building one from CruisinOffroad -but he’s stacked with work and then his accident on top of that - plus the trips down for fitting and fabbing. This just worked out easier and better for us.

Our main need was for something to carry the canoe up on the cab and away from the trailer. This does that nicely and looks 100% better than regular bars. Plus it has the flexibility to mount almost anything to it.
