I still can’t fix this because trying to get the rockers in the right position to torque them down is a nightmare.
I can’t have Pap over to help us fix it, because Dad’s been in contact with at least two people with the COVID, and I’ve been around Dad, and Pap has Stage IV COPD, a collapsed lung, and other issues.
I’ve tried the TDC method, I’ve tried waiting until the rods and springs quit moving to get it on the round part of the cam lobe, none of it is easy to figure out.
All of this because I’m an idiot who thought rockers weren’t supposed to have play in them. Should have just left it the fuck alone.
