DOTS and Doggo, TSX hitch edition

I ordered a step up adapter before and it hit the bumper so I had to get a straight 6" adapter and risk a little less ground clearance. But overall the hitch is pretty inconspicuous without the extension in, it seems to only sit about a quarter inch below the exhaust. I haven’t lowered the car with my new wheels because I get pretty close to hitting the ground on a couple dirt roads I go down sometimes to surf, the parking areas are pretty lumpy too. When my truck is done I will probably use that on those days anyway. The hitch is for a support for my kayak though, I have always felt wagons are better for kayak transport because the roof is lower and it’s much easier to get a big kayak down, mine is a tandem and 17' long.

The creature, I mean doggo. We got out on some trails that were closed before this week, didn’t pass anyone yesterday. It’s been hot so we go at 6pm and finish at 8 or so, perfect temperature then. Sylvie has discovered lizards, she wants to catch them all:
