That's one small step for a grain silo, one giant leap for humankind

After several successes and a few notable failures, SpaceX’s Starship SN5 test article completed a static test fire on 7/30 and followed it up with a 150 meter hop yesterday. Provided Elon decides not to push things further, SN5 will likely be retired next to Starhopper, and further tests will be performed by SN6, which is being constructed with a newer alloy, and SN8, which is expected to have a nose faring, flight control surfaces and three Raptor engines. A possible flight to 20km is anticipated by year end.
