But now? I mean, it’s not a terrible idea. If it isn’t a typo on their website, Jeep is leasing base model Gladiators for $143/month. $3,500 down, 10k miles/year, 24 month term. Not unreasonable numbers at all. Plus I would probably trade the Cube in, knocking at least $1,500 or so off that down payment.
So, what does Oppo think? I don’t really need a truck in any major sense. But I suspect it would be a fully reasonable daily driver until about the 3rd or 4th time I have to fill it with gas. As for color, I actually don’t mind the orange, although I would probably go for the Sting Grey or Gator colors instead.
