An Ode To A Comanche

Some folks have a weakness for chocolates.

For others, it’s blondes or brunettes

But I like to buy an old truck

And give it the bulk of my debts.

This Jeep Comanche you see here

May just be a ratty old wreck

With vinyl and chrome from the 80s.

And a radio with no cassette

But give me some time

I’ll make it whole

The prior owner wrote some nice checks

Though no one would guess it

This truck’s unmolested

Its soul will be brought up to specs.

(This was the truck in question for the 48 Hours And A Used Car contest, but don’t fret. I’ll make it a lot easier the next go round.)
