Look at me being lazy. I always post every video on OPPO until I don’t. It took me 2 weeks to realize the latest installment didn’t make my “blog” over here. If you can call it that. ANYWAY.
Temperature was down, but not enough to stop my camera (and myself) from overheating. It looks like fall is finally arriving though, and the temperatures are going down. I can’t wait to film cars in a comfortable temperature!
I actually took my new daily, the 2018 Passat GT, to the show this go around. People didn’t notice it at all save for the guy at the gate which was expecting my usual ride, the 2005 Mustang GT. That’s exactly it’s charm I suppose, it looks like a dad mobile, but with the VR6 it has some decent pickup and go. I featured it at the beginning of the music glamour portion and then at the end just before the outtakes I put my exhaust cam on it to see what it sounded like. I was actually pleasantly surprised...
Favorite of show was the 912, I have great love for the older aircooled Porsches, and this one was no different. It was also immaculate, and the owner put the pedal to the metal leaving the show too. It’s a classic that gets driven! The best kind.
