After 4 long years I finally will get a new airbag tomorrow in my wife’s 2008 Edge. If someone had told me at the start of this that getting a recall part replaced would take 4 years I would have said they are full of crap. I would have been wrong. I could have built a small fire with all the Ford corporate notifications. It was crazy because I would then call one of three local dealerships to see if I could get my replacement parts but always got the same answer. I was in shock when it was finally available.
